''Hustle'' Imagine you are an NBA scout, and you haven’t found any players for your team. This is what Stanley Sugarman (Adam Sandler) is going through. In the opening scene we can see Stanley Sugarman sitting on the baseline of a basketball court looking closely at all of the players. It then shows heaps of scenes where he is sitting on other baseline looking at other players and writing down notes. It shows him getting frustrated and annoyed because none of the players are good enough to play on the 76ers. The scenes get increasingly faster as he crosses names off of his list and finally goes home. This made me super engaged because it was so good to look at and it was incredible to see Adam Sandler back in a movie. Stanley then goes into work and is in a meeting discussing all of the players with the head of the 76ers. Stanley suggests not to take any of the names and keep looking. Then he goes to another country to look at another player. He was no good. As he was about to leave, he heard people playing basketball outside and went to have a look. It was a play named Bo Cruz who was destroying his opponents. Then he goes through all of the trouble of getting him ready to get drafted for the NBA. He then gets drafted at the end of the movie. This movie was so engaging because it gave an insight to what the NBA scouts go through to first find a player and then get them ready for the NBA draft. I kept watching because I love Adam Sandler and what his character is in the movie. There is also a lot of real NBA players that participated in the movie which makes it more like real life. I also wanted to keep watching because I wated to see how hard you have to work to get into the NBA because a ot of people try and fail.
